Before I decided to launch our website, I realized that there were many people who want to learn more about the care of their dog, but are often overwhelmed by all the books and wide range of supplies.
Many new dog owners don't know where to start, often guess or miss out on some really great additions to their dog supplies at home. Quality information was definitely needed.
That's why I launched Alybeara.com, which provides current information and supplies most dog owners want to raise a happy, healthy and well behaved dog.
We are a family business and we all love dogs. We are dog people. Alybeara is entirely devoted to the care and comfort of dogs. So expect the best information, products and personal service.

Over the years, I purchased a lot of dog products from stores and other online pet shops and realized that a low price meant that I got seconds or refurbished items. (In other words, the item either was defective, or repaired and sold as if new.) I love my dogs and I want the best products for them to make sure they are safe, happy and comfortable.
I guessed other dog owners felt the same way. That's one of the reasons I started this site. I make sure everything we offer in our store is the quality I want for my dogs, so I know your dog is getting the best quality dog beds, clothing and other pet supplies you want for your dog.

After all these years, loving and caring for dogs, I have made it a personal commitment to learn all there is to know about raising happy, healthy, well behaved dogs, especially when there are young children in the family. I'm not a Vet and I'm not a dog trainer, although I have trained many dogs. I realize that living with a dog is an ongoing learning experience, especially since there are so many different dog breeds, registered dogs and mixes with unique personalities. Puppies need a different kind of care and training than older dogs. And aging dogs need special attention.
Laws are changing about dogs, and many hotels now welcome dogs. Traveling with a dog is easier when you fly or go by car... and there are a good number of dog supplies that make a trip even easier and convenient.
Baby boomers who retire are considering a dog, and I hope to make the choice an easy one. Dogs are great companions and with the right supplies, life with a dog adds so much pleasure. You'll never be lonely with a dog by your side.

How Alybeara Got Started
I have always loved dogs. When I was 7 years old, I fell off the garage roof (long story) and cracked my head. My dog, a Cocker Spaniel named Miranda, was by my side during my recovery. When I opened my eyes, there she was. Her big brown eyes starring lovingly right into my eyes. We formed a sort of connection that stayed with me.
In later years, when another dog of mine, my beloved Black Lab, became ill, I was obsessed with getting him well. I never left his side and even slept on the floor with him so he wouldn't feel scared and alone. I knew he was suffering, and his Vet gave us medicine to make him more comfortable. There was nothing more we could do. Long story short, he passed, and I didn't stop crying for months. It was a year before I could even speak his name without getting teary. Of course, I've lost dogs before, but this was different. We had a really close connection... almost ESP kind of understanding. I loved him so much.
Our other dog, a little Lhasa, seemed so lonely, and was declining. I could see he was sad, too. I finally decided it was time to add a new dog to our family... to keep him company.
We've lived with mix dog breeds and AKC registered. And our personal experience included teacup, small, medium and large dogs. We finally decided to get a Chocolate Lab puppy.
Happily, our little Lhasa perked up and soon regained the hop in his step... even though it was obvious he was just 'tolerating' the new puppy.
Even as a child, I educated myself about the care and training of my dogs. I read books and made notes in my journal (called a diary back then). People often ask for my advice. My customers call me their "dog mentor." |
