Here are answers to questions asked by our customers. Please contact us if you don't find the information you are looking for.

Q. How come you don't have any information about cats, fish or birds?
A. This site is just about dogs, dog information and dog supplies. We decided not to include other pet supplies and information, because we are not a pet store. Our site does sell pet supplies... but only for dogs because we know dogs, and our hearts are devoted to the care and comfort of dogs.

Q. Do you support the SPCA?
A. We do support the protection of dogs and any organization that works to find and care for abused dogs. On select items from our dog supply inventory, we donate a portion to a local organiztion. Our donations are managed by Mission Fish.

Q. Are you a Vet or is one of the family a Vet?
A. We are not veterinarians, and we make it clear that we do not give health advice and we do not sell medicines you need a prescription for. We only share our own dog experiences and we only sell new dog supplies.

Q. What do you base your dog information on?
A. The opinions we share come from years and years of dog ownership, as well as research. But in addition to our experiences, you can read about other dog owner experiences, and post your own dog stories in our articles department. All dog owners benefit from each of our experiences, and that's a good thing.

Q. Where do you get your supplies?
A. Q. What if we don't like something we order?
A. You have 30 days to request a return of a product. You don't need a reason. But for the health and safety of your dog, we do not accept returns on some items, such as flea remedies, medical products and some clothing like dog costumes.

Q. How is your pricing compared to other online stores?
A. Alybeara provides brand new dog supplies. We do NOT sell products that are seconds, used, refurbished or have expired dates. Your price reflects the quality you want for your dog. Compared to other online stores selling new dog supplies, our prices are competitive.

Q. What do you charge for shipping?
A. At Alybeara, shipping covers the packing materials and shipper fees. Rates are automatically calculated in your shopping cart using UPS real-time rate tables (processed by a connection to UPS) and added to your order. We do not set the shipping fee. It is automatically calculated by UPS.

Q. Do you offer free shipping?
A. We do offer free shipping on special promotions. Join our mailing list for news and announcements.

Q. Do you have a minimum order amount?
A. We do not have a surcharge for small orders. However, some products have a minimum order amount due to manufacturer packaging. If you've made any purchase on the Internet, you know that it's less costly to buy enough to justify the shipping fee.

Q. Do you offer discounts?
A. On occasion, we offer special promotions, discounts, quantity breaks and free gift with purchase. If by chance a product is affected by more than one discount, only one discount is applied at checkout, and it will be the discount that is most favorable for the customer. Q. Do you have sales like other retail stores do?
A. It's just good business to run a sale for our valued customers, and we do. Customers and visitors also have special offers, which are listed on our site. Please subscribe to our newsletter to receive announcements about new products and special offers.

Q. What is your guarantee policy?
A. All our products are 100% guaranteed to be as described, and we offer an easy online return procedure to back that up. (Please see Return Procedure for details.)

Q. Why is an item I order backordered?
A. All items shown in our online store are in stock at the time our customers browse and buy. Out-of-stock and discontinued items are not available for sale, and are temporarily removed from display in our store. However, some items are popular and sell out quickly. Orders may be placed when there is plenty of inventory, but when the order is picked, inventory may not be available due to previous orders packed on the same day.

Q. What happens if my order is backordered?
A. We notify you by email if there is a delay shipping your order. You can then choose to wait, substitute or cancel your order, whichever is best for you.

Q. Do you substitute items?
A. A substitution may be made for the same item with new packaging that has been updated, but only the same model of equal or better value is substituted. Substitutions for similar items will only be made if requested by customer.

Q. If you only sell new dog products, what do you do with items that are returned?
A. We do not resell returned items in our online store. We don't get many returns, but when we do, we either give them away or offer them as "used dog products" on Craig's list.

Q. Do you have a printed catalog?
A. We do not offer printed catalogs at this time.

Q. Do you have a store?
A. Alybeara does business exclusively over the Internet. We do not have a brick-n-mortar store, and we have no plans to open one at this time.

Q. Where are you located?
Alybeara business office is located in Allen, north of Dallas, Texas, USA.

Q. How do I return something?
A. Customer satisfaction is a priority with Alybeara. We try to make returns as trouble free and convenient as possible. To this end, we offer an online Request Return Authorization process. Please refer to the Return Procedure for details.

Q. How long until I get my order?
A. Upon receipt of your payment, your order is processed for shipment. Orders received after noon CST are typically processed the next day. Some items ship direct from the manufacturer, and in this case, shipping generally takes from 2 days. Actual transit time depends on the shipper and the shipping address or destination. If your shipping address is not within the Continental US or if it ships to Canada, please allow more time. You can use the UPS calculator (www.ups.com) for best estimate. In our experience, it generally takes 7-10 days. Here is a Shipping Chart published by UPS for reference:
